New Camera...Yay!

I have decided that my current camera is officially to slow in comparison to the new technology. Enter the Canon S2 IS. (Yes, I am aware that there is an S3, but it wasn't worth the extra money for the features it has beyond the S2. It also doesn't have the handgrip which I like.) I have also decided that the Canon Powershot A40 does not afford me as many options as some other cameras currently on the market. Therefore, I am splurging on a new camera. It is a "super-zoom" which gives me 12x zooming and a myriad (spelling?) of other features. I can also upgrade it later with a hood and adapter to use varying types of lenses on it. So, get ready for some kick butt pictures, people. On Sunday we head to Alaska and Seattle!
