Bon Voyage...
Well, the final "Gilmore Girls" has come and gone. I must say that although I wished this show could go on forever...the ending was done wonderfully. I couldn't imagine a more fitting ending for the girls.
It wasn't your traditional everyone gets married, or moves, or has babies, etc. The show ended the same way the pilot ended...with Lorelai and Rory in Luke's talking and having a coffee. Very appropriate. Plus you know Luke and Lorelai are together, Rory will live her dream of becoming a journalist, and the grandparents will always have their Friday Night Dinners.
I will miss the rapid-fire banter, pop-culture references, crazy towns people, and the relationships between all of the characters. Rarely does a show come along that is smart and funny.
Definitely my favorite show of all time. (And yes, even the guys like it.) I highly recommend you check it out sometime. You couldn't possibly be disappointed.
