Walt Disney World, Spring Break 2008
My mom and I had a great time in Disney World last week. It's a shame it's all a memory now. But, we had an amazing time while it lasted. We stayed at the Pop Century Resort and visited all of the parks, plus Universal Studios, and had delicious food. Enjoy the pictures!
We stayed in the 1980's portion of the hotel. It was all broken down into decades beginning with the 1950's and ending with the 1990's. You can see that at the top there are popular phrases from that decade and we had Pacman on our railings.
There were also giant iconic things from each time period. Here you have a Walkman. I think I actually had that walkman!!!

There were a bunch of giant Rubics cubes in the 80's. And for those of you who are wondering like I was there...they do have one that is "solved." :)
The '90s had cell phones in place of the Rubics cubes. Their iconic item was a laptop. You can see they had roller blades and cd's on their banisters. Neat, huh?
