Happy Birthday, Gabriel!!!!

Opening a few presents on his birthday. He was a little more interested with fewer distractions. Mom and Dad got him a DVD player complete with DVDs and kid sized headphones for his trip to Disney. You're welcome fellow airplane passengers.
It was raining all day so we have to put off our zoo trip until another day. Probably best in the long run. Apparently the zoo is ridiculously crowded during Spring Break so he'll get to enjoy it more with fewer crowds another weekend. So, we had lunch at Rainforest Cafe instead. :)
He was obsessed with this fountain from our table, but when up close he didn't find it too appealing. But, nonetheless, here we are with our birthday boy!
Then for a ride on the carousel. 6 months older than the last time he rode one, and this one didn't travel at warp speed. It made for a successful ride. :) For the first half he smiled. The last half he had kind of a nervous grimace on his face as though we was telling himself, "I am enjoying this. I am enjoying this." He did have fun though and I'm sure would have ridden it again and again.

No longer a baby our little boy is growing up. He walks all over the place and with how much he babbles on and on and every once in a while spits out a word he's sure to be talking up a storm in no time. I look forward to it! :)
He goes to the dr. tomorrow so 1 year birthday picture on the couch to come with stats.
