Sugar and Spice

and everything nice is who will be joining our house in September.  We are thrilled to pieces to be the proud parents of:

Lorelai Mary Lipscomb

(and can't wait to meet her in person in September!)  Although this ultrasound seemed to give us a pretty good idea of little Lorelai's personality.  As if her vigorous all day calisthenics haven't been a sign.  :)  She was definitely a mover and a shaker in there, kept waving away the doppler when it was near her head, was flipping from side to side, turning circles, being really sassy putting her hands in cute ways on her chin, and even got perturbed enough at our poking to kick back a few times.  That's my girl...don't take being pushed around from anyone.  :)  She also did really good job of being lady like and keeping her legs tightly crossed until we bugged her enough to give me a swift kick and reveal herself as our darling little girl.

First two Lorelai is looking at you.  Brian and I refer to this as the alien shot.  The bottom one is her cutie profile.  This was not an easy picture to get.

Both Brian and I had tears in our eyes at the news.  We have our perfect little family now with one amazing little boy and one enthusiastic little girl.  I can't wait to meet my little rambunctious baby.

She is a petite little one according to Dr. Wilson.  Measuring about 4 days smaller, but Gabriel always measured 2 days bigger.  She said that was normal.  I am also 14 lbs. lighter this pregnancy than this time last pregnancy.  Go me!!!  I am in the perfect weight gain range.  So, baby and momma are doing perfectly.

And no...she will not be wearing gigantic head bands and hair bows.  Not gonna happen.  :)
