This is the day that the Lord has made...

Let us rejoice and be glad!!!
We are so thrilled that today our sweet sweet daughter officially begins her faith journey.  And she is in wonderful hands with our dear friends Jessica and Ebby as her Godparents.  :)  Both of our children are so blessed to have amazingly spiritual, kind, and loving Godparents.

Jessica had her family bring in a gorgeous and intricate Baptismal gown from Mexico (where she hails from).  She also had a medal of the Virgin Mary for Lorelai to wear but I sadly forgot to put it on her!  :( Oops.  Well, she can wear it to church on Sundays!  Interestingly, Lorelai is a German name and, her Godfather (Ebby) is German.  It was a perfect fit!  We also had the blanket that was used by my parents at my Baptism and Gabriel's Baptism.  (And maybe even my brother's?)
 She is just so beautiful!

With her Godparents, Jessica and Ebby.
Always the sweetie pie, Lorelai was cooing and smiling the whole time.  She loved having the water poured over her head.
 Receiving a blessing.
Lorelai had quite the grip on Ebby's finger throughout much of the sacrament.  :)  She didn't want to let go so he could take the candle.

While Lorelai is fascinated by her little candle Gabriel is obsessed with the giant one behind us.  lol

I LOVE this picture!

We had a fun little shindig at the house afterwards.  We truly enjoyed celebrating this amazing day in our daughter's life with family and friends.
Speaking of friends...  We still hadn't gotten a picture of Lorelai with her gal pal Kylie!  So here it is...Kari, myself, Kylie, and Lorelai.  :)  They're both so darling.  Kylie is only 2 1/2 weeks younger than Lorelai!  We're glad she came from Pearland to spend this special day with Lorelai as well.  :)
