Halloween 2012

Lets just say...I've been looking forward to Halloween this year for a while.  Gabriel LOVES Halloween.  He claims it's his favorite holiday.  And what's not to love about getting to dress up as someone else?  He declared on his birthday in March (!) that he wanted to be Zurg from Toy Story.  This costume has a lot of time and planning invested in it.  Not to mention a lot of nights tossing and turning over how to do it, and then the nights staying up working on it until midnight...it was SO worth it to see his face light up when he put it on for the first time.  (And to see him today playing "super heroes and villians" with his friends at school all in costume.  lol)

Then we have Lorelai, who also decided many months ago that she wanted to be a doggy.  And then she specified a purple doggy.  Mommy lives to please.  :)  And she is the cutest purple doggy you'll ever set eyes on!  Especially when she says, "Woof!  Woofs!"

You can see her tail hanging down between her legs.  I didn't get a great shot of her where you can see it in all it's waggy glory.  lol  Today at school she was chasing her tail.  HA!  And THANK YOU Lorelai for picking an "easy" costume for Mommy.

They were both thrilled to bits, and once again I was reminded why the late nights of sewing are all worth it!  :)  So worth it!!!
