Taking Flight

Friends and family know I am not a fan of tiny planes.  But, Brian "recently" got his pilot's license and hasn't been shy about wanting all of us to fly with him.  And while I am less than eager to, I figured it couldn't hurt to teach the kiddos that you should face your fears.  So, today we all took our first flight in an itty bitty airplane together.  The kids did really well.  Gabriel had small moments of nervousness during which he held Lorelai's hand.  Lorelai had some trouble with the tightness of her seatbelt, and Mommy forgot to bring lollipops to help with our ears, but in the end Gabriel was relaxed enough to fall asleep and Lorelai enjoyed just watching out of the window.  Both kids enjoyed the headsets a ton.  As for me...I can tolerate it.  I will say that Brian is a wonderful pilot...and the landing...flawless.  :)
