Surfside Fun

Grandma Cherlyn and Grace. I was looking at this ship and attempting to get a good picture of it for my dad when two dolphins started lobtailing and breaching over by some fishermen in the water. Very exciting! It looked like a mom and baby (Happy Mother's Day to the mommy dolphin!) and they stayed in the "shallows" for a while having a good lunch. Unfortunately they stopped breaching as soon as I got my camera on them and I couldn't snap a picture of their dorsals fast enough.
Dad, you should come down and we can take you to the beach so you can see all of the ships!
Brian and Greg.
Grace liked the Aggie umbrella that Brian set up. She liked laying in the shade with her water bowl right next to her. She's not a big fan of the water although she enjoys all of the beach excitement and smells.

Vitamins

Some exciting news...okay...maybe not crazy exciting, but I'm very happy. I have been put on Prenatal Vitamins to get my body prepped with the appropriate nutrients for having a baby. No, I'm not pregnant, but this is the first step to what I hope is a wonderful and exciting experience for Brian and I. We start trying to expand our little family at the end of the year. :) I was put on 5 more months of birth control, then it should take about 3 months to get out of my system. It's already the end of February!!! Like I said...exciting!!!

Also...I've been trying to take some good vertical pictures of Grace. She is not a fan of the camera though. We have great horizontal pictures, but we are in need of a vertical one for the paw print framing kit Matt and Angie gave us for Christmas.
I got my haircut too. Something new for spring. : )

My Little Sunshine...

Three years ago (November 21) Grace came into our lives. That was one of the best days ever!!! Every year we celebrate that day as Grace's birthday. Unfortunately we don't know when her actual birthday is or how old she is, but I haven't heard any complaints from her regarding this matter so I think we'll be ok. Usually we take Grace somewhere special for her birthday, but this year she seemed content to just lay back and relax... She got to have pancakes, bacon, and butterscotch rice krispy treats. : )
This is a picture of her original "adoption day" 3 years ago.
