Halloween 2014

True to form my kids picked their costume ideas early in the year and stuck with their plans for the most part.  Gabriel decided on Two Face (Batman) sometime in May, while Lorelai did switch from wanting to be Twilight Sparkle (My Little Pony) to Izzy from Jake and the Neverland Pirates.  But, even that switch was made months ahead of Halloween itself.  I'm so glad my kids know what they want so we can enjoy plotting and planning the costumes together.  It's one of my all time favorite things to do with them.

Pumpkin Patch 2014

Considering that it's late November now, and we've had our first snow of the season, I figure I better get around to posting about all of our fall happenings.  So, first up we have have our Pumpkin Patch pictures.

This year the kids each spent time at a different patch for their class field trips.  Lorelai visited the Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch.  She enjoyed spending time with the animals there, but otherwise we were mostly limited on time so we didn't get to do a lot of the activities.  PreK is only 2.5 hours and we had to be back to pick up Gabriel from school.  Lorelai is also very shy around her class so she wasn't really acting like her usual goofy self until we were off on our own away from the group.

Small note to pumpkin patches.  Please provide some good open shade areas for pictures with the pumpkins.  That was lacking at both spots.

Gabriel's class went to Chester's Party Barn.  Which had a lot more to do, but we were also able to spend all day there.  Gabriel seemed to have a fantastic time with all of his friends and we really enjoyed ourselves.

This little girl with Gabriel is his BFF Rene.  Gabriel proclaimed that they were going to get married and have eighty-one hundred babies.  lol  Apparently Rene feels the same as Gabriel has come home with a few love notes.  It's so cute.
