Boone Hall Plantation Randoms

These are some random shots that I took at Boone Hall Plantation. We went down by the river and sat on a huge oak tree limb. I love the Spanish Moss on the Oak Trees. This is a handmade Sweet Grass Basket I purchased. They are made by African American women in the Charleston area. You can find their stands along I-17, the Market, and a woman at Boone Hall Plantation makes them. They allow her to have a little stand there. She was very sweet and answered all of my questions. Her prices were very reasonable too, which is hard to find on these baskets. She was talking and working at the same time so it must become fairly routine work after a while, but what a gorgeous result. There was a butterfly cafe complete with butterfly tent. Here is a picture I took of one of the butterflies. I know; it's awesome. ; )
