Inside the Slave Cabin
Surprisingly the slave cabins had more in them and were "nicer" (relative term obviously) than I thought they would be. Children slept on mats on the floor, and families usually lived together in a cabin. The ladder on the right went up to a "loft" area where there was a cradle. This was their fireplace. I was surprised yet again that they had a fireplace.
