Lorelai Update (32 1/2 weeks)
So, I had another dr. appt. today. Lorelai is doing well. Her heartbeat is good and my belly is measuring spot on. She certainly is hanging out very low down in there though. They had a hard time finding her heartbeat at first b/c of how low she is. She feels like she's sideways to me so I hope she flips head down soon.
I told my dr. of my semi-frequent nighttime contractions. About every other night I have on and off contractions that last for about an hour each round (for about 3-4 hours each night). I can have anywhere from 4-6 in an hour. Dr. Wilson thinks I'm having more than that as I didn't feel my milder ones with Gabriel at all. So she believes I'm feeling only 1/3 - 2/3 of the contractions I'm having. She said this is normal (to be having them this early) as 2nd babies often come along faster and I dilated pretty well with Gabriel. So, I am on a "modified" bed rest I guess you could say. I am to be lying down and drinking lots of water as often as I can. Obviously toddler duties mean that won't happen very often. But, in the evenings when Brian gets home it's the daddy show. :) I really am feeling very good, and Dr. Wilson isn't worried really...just taking some added precautions. I'll do less cleaning during his naps and take it easy more.
Luckily I only have one more major Lorelai project. I need to finish the curtains. They're about half way done. I only have the "modified" bed rest until I'm 36 weeks...so 3 1/2 weeks isn't too much longer. I go back in 2 weeks and hopefully the contractions will have died down by then a bit and I can get back to my normal busy self. :)
