The Winds of Change

I can finally post about our big announcement.  I know some of you who follow my craft blog or my vague-posting on Facebook have been wondering why on earth I can't currently craft.  Well, it's because I have to keep the house clean.  And no...I haven't finally turned into an OCD cleanliness freak or anything. (Not that people with OCD are freaks...oh never mind.)  Lets just say my house has not recently looked like an episode of Hoarders.  :)

Why does my house have to stay so ridiculously tidy?  Well...

Because we're moving!!!!!!

And I don't mean just moving a town over.  We're moving to Oklahoma City!  Yep.  March 7 the moving truck will pull up to our house, pack everything, load everything and drive off with all of my personal belongings.  A little scary, but awfully thrilling!

How did this come about?  Brian interviewed with Chesapeake Energy, and of course they loved him.  And with Chesapeake being such a great company Brian had to say yes.  And here we are!  Moving to Oklahoma!  We're very excited about the new adventure.  Chesapeake seems like a very family oriented company and is doing a lot for Oklahoma City.

We have a house there.  It's gorgeous.  I'll post pictures of that later as I have a little boy sitting in my lap currently.  Of course we love our little house here.  It's our first home together. The house we came home to after we got married.  Grace's first house.  The home we brought both of our beautiful children home to from the hospital.  We will treasure each and every wonderful memory we've made here.  But, we are looking forward to a new area with more shopping, better schools, and lots of new places to explore.  We will miss our friends here.  And I know the kids will miss seeing their Grandma Cherlyn and Grandpa Greg as often.  But, there are new friends to be made.  And we'll be about 2 hours closer to my brother's family...and my little niece is due any day.

We hope you're as excited for us as we are!  And we hope you'll want to come and visit in Oklahoma!  (We have a guest room again!)
