Ode to a Home
(I know an ode is a lyric poem, and that's not what this is, but I didn't want to spend hours trying to think of a new title.)
Dear Texas Home,
Thanks for always being there for us. You have been the perfect home for just shy of 6 amazing years of our lives. And you were there from the beginning of it all:
You were Grace's first real home:
And then our own little ones:
Dear Texas Home,
Thanks for always being there for us. You have been the perfect home for just shy of 6 amazing years of our lives. And you were there from the beginning of it all:
You were Grace's first real home:
You held strong for us during hurricanes:
You warmly welcomed new little lives. First our favorite little birdie family spring after spring:And then our own little ones:
In this house they have been in cribs:
And one has even graduated to full fledged big boy under your roof.
You have been there with open and cozy arms when we return from vacation:
You have happily hosted our celebrations and milestones:
So thank you Texas Home. Thank you for providing us with the opportunity to have cherished moments like these within your walls. The memories we have created with you will always be treasured and thought of with love.
Love,
Amanda, Brian, Gabriel, Lorelai, and Grace
