Playmates and Updates
Well, before we get all packed tomorrow I figured I would do one last blog post before we head to Oklahoma.
I think I'll start with the not so great news and then move into the happier stuff.
So, not so great news: Grace is now completely blind. We're not sure what exactly happened but between yesterday and today she has completely lost site in her one remaining eye. She also seems to be suffering from some arthritis or hip problem as well. We took her to the vet, and they gave her a shot to help with the pain. Hopefully it helps. It's so sad to see her walking around just bumping into things head on. Or staring off into space not sure of what to do. She doesn't hear that well either so that doesn't help. Today she walked right into the pantry, bonked her head, and then just laid down because she wasn't sure of what to do next. :( My poor baby. We hope for the best, but I don't think the trip will go well with her, and being blind in a brand new house. I just don't think she'll be with us for too much longer. :*(
On a still down note but not as sad - The kids and I all have colds. This makes for a miserable preparation for the move. We also had to push our closing back to Monday. Moving is a very annoying process. I think I'll be staying in Oklahoma for a long time. lol I'm also hoping these colds are gone quickly so we can meet our new niece in Dallas!
On an exciting note - The movers come to pack us tomorrow. So soon we'll be officially moving!!! :) Adios hordes of mosquitoes!!!!!! (Gabriel has already received several bites and it's only March.)
And now for the happy stuff. I've mentioned (I think) that Gabriel and Lorelai are starting to become little playmates at times. Here is the evidence:

We love taking walks in our double stroller. :) Gabriel peeks around back to make sure that Lorelai is okay. |
